How They Work

The CPIEAs recognize nominees and winners in the seven following categories. These seven categories are then differentiated into three groups, based on their selection procedures:

First Group:
1.Businesses
2.Government
3.Educational Associations
4.Schools
5.Recruiter Associations

Second Group:
6.Recruiters

Third Group:
7.Students

First Group:

Businesses, Government, Educational Associations, Schools and Recruiter Associations are selected by the CPIEA committee and approved by an independent judging panel after extensive research into their programs, policies and activities. Recipients in each of these categories are awarded a CPIEA according to their active participation and strategic initiatives in the local and global education industry. The recipients in this group will be invited in the summer of each year to accept their recognition during the CPIEA gala held in the fall of the same year. Upon your acceptance, you will receive a series of emails with all needed information to comfortably prepare you for the gala event. Each recipient will be welcomed to the stage to receive their awards by a guest of honour or a member of the judging panel and offered a maximum two minute speech. Your speech can be related to your organizational and professional activities within the education sector.

Second Group:

Recruiters are divided into four tiers:

1. Agency of the Year (10 or More Educational Consultants)
2. Small Agency of the Year (5-9 Educational Consultants)
3. Dynamic Agency of the Year (1-4 Educational Consultants)
4. New Agency of the Year (2-5 Years in Business)

These four tiers are selected through an application and judging process.

Applications must be sent before March 15th of each year. The entire process of applying, judging and tallying results generally takes place over 4 months in the spring season of each year. Nominees are then revealed along with the recipients 0f the other Groups in the summer of each year.

All nominees will receive a series of emails with all needed information to comfortably prepare them for the gala event held in the fall of the same year.

The Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of the above four tiers are then announced at the CPIEA gala. Gold winners will be welcomed to the stage to receive their awards by the CPIEA Innovator Sponsor and offered a maximum one minute speech. Your speech can be related to your organizational and professional activities within the education sector.

Third Group:

The Students category is a way for the CPIEAs to give back to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to study overseas.

The four Gold winners of the Second Group are invited to search, screen and select the following year’s four students. For more information about the selection process and benefits click here. If the Gold winners didn’t accept the invitation, the Silver or Bronze winners will be invited.

The selected four students will be then sponsored by an educational institution to study abroad prior to the gala event that held in the fall of each year so they can attend.

Each student will join their recruiter and be welcomed to the stage to offer a maximum one minute speech per person. Your speech can be related to your experience and hope to change your community.
